Hay There!

I spend some time on Facebook most days, checking out cards and such that others have made. It is a good way to stretch myself. I don't really CASE anything I see, but there are times that my own creativity is piqued. Oh, and sometimes I learn about new companies and/or products. For instance, I'd never heard of Scrapping for Less, nor would I have paid much attention based on the name - but then I saw some people posting an adorable little gnome and I had to check out the company. (Yes, I chased a rabbit, or in this case, a gnome.)

What I discovered is a fairly economical (in my opinion) monthly card kit subscription, but since I'm trying not to subscribe to any more right now, I paid a wee bit more and purchased just one month of the Flavor of the Month Double Dip.

I squealed when it arrived. Inside were four kits - stamps, designer papers, and just a few embellishments plus card stock and envelopes. I was delight... especially since the gnome was in one of those kits.

Don't get too excited. For my first card, I didn't use the Gnome kit. Instead I used the one with the little scarecrow.

Here's what was in the kit:

Here's my card:

I'll get to the gnome soon, I'm sure. Trust me, he's really cute!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!
