More Love to Share

Yesterday's blog post showed two cards for two separate challenges, each with a love theme. Today's blog post features two more challenges with a love theme - {PIN}Spirational Challenges and Twisted Tuesday Challenge. I also am showcasing the Crafty Gals Challenge in this blog post. YIKES! It's going to be a long post.

February 5 - 11

This is the photo to {PIN}Spire us:

Our sponsors this week are:

(I used one of their quotes on my card)

and

(I used some of their ribbon on my card)

THANK YOU to both Eureka Stamps and Pink Petal! We appreciate you so much!

Here's my card:

I really think this quote says so much about love, the love of God.

Here's the inside of my card:

My second card is not only for the Twisted Tuesday Challenge, it was also created with the specifics of the Crafty Gals Blog Group Challenge for this month. I'll explain that after I tell you about the Twisted Tuesday Challenge.

February 4-11

Theme: Black Tie Event
Make something for a loving couple. It can be an anniversary card, Valentine card, housewarming creation, a scrap page of the happy couple, whatever you like.

Twist: Include the color black, preferably ribbon or lace, but anything black will do.

The fun thing about this challenge is that on Monday (the 4th) my husband and I received a handmade card from a member of our church - a lady who has no idea that Twisted Tuesday Challenges even exist - yet her card matches the challenge perfectly. Take a look at it...

Thank you, Norma, for a beautiful Anniversary card!
(Sadly, Norma and her husband would be celebrating their 64th Anniversary today had he not passed away a few months ago.)

Now, about the Crafty Gals blog group. Every month, on the 5th we have a group challenge. This year we've decided to make that a CASE one of the members sort of thing and this month everyone's CASE'ing me. How fun! I can't wait to see what they make. If you'd like to see, check out their blogs - you'll find the links in my left sidebar.

So, in keeping with the "CASE Jeanette" theme, I sort of CASE'd the layout/sketch of this card.

I know this post is long, but one last thing. I'm still doing the 100 Cards in 100 Days Challenge, and these two cards are #42 and #43.

Thanks for stopping  by today!
