Lobster Fun

NOTE: I have two blog posts today, so keep scrolling if you're interested in seeing what the new challenge is at Sweet Stampin'... it's the post right after this one.

Jessica (of JessicaLynnOriginal) is so creative. I would have never EVER (not in a million years) thought to make an owl in a lobster suit image, yet that's exactly what she did and he is adorable!

Today the JessicaLynnOriginal design team is featuring the new " Brentwood Owl Lobster Beach Under the Sea" stamp set on our blogs... and Jessica herself is venturing out into the world of periscope to show him off. (I'll admit I know absolutely nothing about periscope, but I'm glad Jessica does.)

I've made two cards with this set...

I used stamps from the JessicaLynnOriginal Brentwood Owl Lobster Beach Under the Sea stamp set to create aquarium scene.

And, of course, I used punches to make the bigger fish - alll from Stampin' UP! - a wide oval, the small heart from the trio hearts punch, and a flower punch, too.

My fish has a googly eye and some rhinestone bubbles, too.

NOW Identified

Do you remember seeing this card on my blog?

If not, you can see that blog post by clicking HERE.

I was the hostess of the September/October round of the Unidentified Image Swap card group on SCS, which meant I chose (and stamped) the image for all of the girls to use. We all got to play with this gnarly witch.

The Unidentified Swappers were up to the challenge. Some of them even did amazing things on the insides of their card, but with one exception, I'll only be showing you the card fronts.

Here are their cards (in alphabetical order)...

A PURR-ty Trick Or Treater

I know a lot of challenges right now are featuring Halloween and/or Fall themes... and that's okay because there are so many adorable stamps/images with that theme.

The {PIN}Spiration Challenge is inspired by this photo:

Isn't she adorable?
I hope she'll {PIN}Spire you to play along with this challenge!

THANK YOU, Sponsors!

For my card, I used the Fred She Said "Emma the Cat" digi image. I actually LOVE to color but since life is hectic right now (our son just got out of the hospital and that has consumed us) I opted to use a precolored image instead. When you need a fast card, it sure saves some time...
