Dog-gone it... have a great day!

I have discovered that I really like punch creations. It just amazes me what can be made with an assortment of different shapes/sizes of paper.

I created this card a few weeks ago, using mostly Stampin' UP! punches to create the puppy.

Body - SU 1 3/8" circle

Head - SU 1 1/4" circle

Muzzle/Jowl (is that what you call his face?) - EK Success 1 1/8" circle

Tongue - piece cut off of the SU 6-petal flower

Eyes - SU 2-circle (I can't remember what it's called)

Nose - a piece cut from a SU 1/2" circle

Patch beind his eye - a piece cut from SU Word Window

Feet - SU 1/2" circle

I hope you have a dog-gone great day!!!

Punchy Monster

When I signed up for Kelly's Monster/Alien Card Swap, I wasn't sure what I would come up with, since I didn't own any appropriate stamps. Soooooo I started searching. I did find some adorable stamps - actually bought one or two. But I also found some adorable online coloring pages for free. It doesn't get any better than that, right.

One of those free coloring pages was of a hand-drawn monster with starry hands, a quirky face and just so precious. I was drawn to him. Then I got to noticing how many of the features of this cute hand-drawn monster could be created using the variety of punches that I own. So, my cute little PUNCHY MONSTER was born.

Move over, Frankenstein... PUNCHY MONSTER is the new and loveable monster!

Oh, and friends... I really do hope your day is full of monster-ous fun!!!

Fleece Navidad

Yes, I know Christmas is still over 4 months away. But I love Christmas!!! And besides, I'm in some Christmas card swaps so I've been making some Christmas cards.

This card was created for Viv's (blusky on SCS) Non Traditional Colors Christmas Card Swap. So I chose bright pink and orange as the main colors, with a bit of bright yellow, too. I love the cheerfulness of the color combination.

The image is made by Whipper Snapper stamps. Isn't it the cutest?!?!? Inside the sentiment says, simply, "Fleece Navidad.

Peachy Keen Challenge

My friend Lorie is one of the DT members for Peachy Keen stamps. Her creations are incredible! You really should check them out. She's amazing!!!

Through my friendship with Lorie, I have been inspiried to participate in my first ever challenge... the Peachy Keen Challenge. This is my creation. Since (ALAS!) I don't have any Peachy Keen stamps (YET!!!), I had to use something I had. This image is a Whipper Snapper stamp - called "Bee" Witch.

The Peachy Keen challenge required entries to include the following items: a pumpkin, the color purple, and a zig zag.

Lorie, my friend, I hope you like my card!
